Auxilium Higher Secondary School, Kokrajhar came alive with color, culture, and joy as students and staff celebrated Assam’s most beloved festival—Bihu/Bwisagu.

The celebration, held on the school premises, brought together the school community in a beautiful display of tradition, unity.

The event began with a warm welcome speech from the Principal. Students performed the iconic Bihu dance, dressed in traditional Assamese and Bodo Dohkona Attire. The air was filled with excitement and pride as the performers captivated the audience with their graceful steps and infectious energy.

Teachers also joined the festivities, sharing insights about the cultural significance of Bihu, which marks the New Year and the arrival of spring. A short musical performances added depth to the celebration, highlighting the values of togetherness and gratitude.The school courtyard was adorned with flowers, and handmade decorations by the students themselves.
